A leaky pipe in the cabin led to us getting a different room for a few hours. That happened to be a penthouse suite with a private hot tub. The water was hot when we got in, boiling when we got out.

We've spend the day helping to clean and restock the former fire tower. Now we're alone for the night. It's bitter cold outside and the wind is blowing. But we're inside the tower with a fire in the stove and an even hotter fire in our hearts for each other. Keeping warm is no problem for us.

We're on the way back to the lodge now. We're going a different route which allowed us to reach a better campsite earlier in the day. It's a good thing because by the time we made camp the wind was howling and it was cold. The fire and tarps warmed things up, and we made it even hotter.
