As we stand, looking out on the grandeur of the mountains surrounding the lodge, our memories are drawn back in time to a mountain resort, not far from the lodge. The occasion, our 1st anniversary. We had celebrated on Christmas Eve and were enjoying our vacation together. Amy surprised me by building and Igloo in the woods. An even bigger surprise was that she'd intentionally made the entry too small to get our heavy parkas through. She assured me that it would be plenty warm inside though. So I figured she'd made some type of fire ring. The next surprise, she'd filled it full of luxurious blankets. When we laid down we sank into them. She was right, they were so warm. We then proceeded to warm it up even more. I was expecting the igloo to melt but it didn't even drip. We made a wonderful memory that day, my sweet, sexy princess and I.

After dinner, a few Christmas Carols after dinner and we decide to head for the hot tub. Kelly has given Amy a special oil blend for the hot tub. And excellent blend for Amy, sweet and a generous touch of spice. It turned a special time in the hot tub into an absolutely amazing time. I can't wait till we visit again as I just read the instructions that cam with it. Besides adding a few drops to the water itself, you can put a few drops into the infusion jets and it will actually infuse the water with the oil The oil is actually able to penetrate the cellular walls and get into the ski cells. It's going to be incredible next time I'm in the tub with Amy. And the oil infused water will be nice too. (Steps out of Character) Amy and I have been talking by phone and message now for almost 4 months. I have to say its incredible, she's always coming up with new things, and with our adventure series she always works new things into it Even makes suggestions when I have something not quite right. I look forward to our times, even if it's just messaging sometime.

Dec 26. All our friends & family have left so it's just Amy and I in our cabin now. We decide to take a nap before dinner. Of course we have to have "play time" first. It's nearly midnight, Christmas is nearly over. What is going we don't know but the clocks are definitely running slow, a 2 hour candle burned out in under 30 minutes according to the clocks. Christmas Magic appears to be giving us extra time. It's nearly midnight, and we go upstairs to our private tree in our bedroom to exchange the personal gifts to each other which we saved until we were alone. We also found 2 more gifts that we still don't know where they came from. They were not there only minutes ago when I place Amy's gift under the tree. When we open them we find 2 paintings, 1 of the lodge, the other of our tree with the 2 presents under it. But how? They had to have been painted only moments ago since I had just place Amy's gift under it. After opening them we curled up by the tree for some naughty play.

Christmas Day. Our families and friends were flown in along with families of other lodge guests to spend Christmas day. Unexpectedly the snow shut down the airport so everyone was forced to spend the night. Since the lodge was full, there were no rooms available for the extra guests and being a couples retreat center, the cabins had no extra beds. The Rangers decided as cold as it is, that it would be warmer and more comfortable if everyone just stayed the living room of the main lodge. There were pillows, cushions and blankets for all. We stayed until everyone was asleep then snuck back to our cabin, quickly reassembled our sheet and blanket fort and spent the rest of the night with a wee bit of naughtiness. With a princess as beautiful as Amy, what better way to spend the last moments of Christmas. (as well as the rest of the day)

The English language fails to provide words adequate to describe Amy. She always seems to know just what to say to make me feel good, and I don't just mean during playtime. Flashback to a time 4 years earlier, it was our first Easter as man and wife.
