Using blankets and tarps we've made a small room inside the large cave, leaving ventilation for the fire of course. It's actually quite comfortable and we're all down to sweatshirts and jeans. We put hung blankets between the sleeping bags for a little privacy but we will need to be very, very quiet in our lovemaking.

While cuddling in our sleeping bag in the cave, we think back to our second night at the spa. After a full day of spa treatments we spend time at a huge campfire listening to a live country band. As we sit by the camp fire to keep warm, our minds go back to a weekend spa getaway. Our first night had perfect weather so after a quiet dinner we relaxed in the hot tub on the deck of our Chalet then on the deck, still warm from the heat of the day. The fresh air, the singing of the birds, the smoke from the neighbor's bonfire made it perfect. We decided to turn in early. Leaving the A/C off and the windows open we cuddled in the bed, enjoying the fresh air and the sounds of the night woods. Cuddling and then sharing our love with each other. It was a great first night.

On a climb to rescue some hikers stranded in the mountains we've established a base camp and have had to spend the day waiting out a storm. Some wood and supplies have been airlifted to the hikers who are holed up in a cave. It's bitter cold, -20 and dropping, the storm is over and the moon is nearly full. Thanks to Jack's invention though we have heat so we're staying warm in the tent. Of course, we're making plenty of our own heat and wondering if Jack & Kelly can hear us in their own tent nearby.

We've gone with Jack and Kelly on an expedition to rescue some hikers who are trapped on a mountain top. We've gone as far as we can by moonlight, now we're made camp to get some sleep and wait for daylight. Of course, with the extreme cold we have to find creative ways to keep each other warm.

We've convinced Jack to let us spend the night up at Sunset Ridge in one of the mini cabins. There's no electric, no running water, no stove. The fireplace will be out source of heat and our means of cooking. There's no bathroom, only a permanent outhouse. It's cold outside, but we stay nice and warm inside.

It's our second night in the Lincoln Cabin and we've set up our fort by the fireplace. The new lights let us set not only the color but the intensity as well. So we have only the light of the fire and the tree lights. While it has cooled to near 0 outside, we have it warm and cozy in our fort where we make love into the wee hours of the morning.

Jack & Kelly's Anniversary party is tonight and we've volunteered to take over the kitchen for dinner and give them the night off. That doesn't mean there isn't time for an afternoon sleigh ride with a stop at Sunset Ridge. Much to our liking, the wooden boxes are more like mini cabins now. They have a thick, glass wall on one side and build right on the edge or the cliff. We thought about staying the night, but remembered the party. Next time though.

Turns out it's the place where Amy and I had met 6 years ago and they had already bought it. They brought us there for a surprise party. We end up getting snowed in and spend the night in the cabin we were in 6 years ago. Cold and windy outside, we stay warm by the fireplace. Of course, this time we're allowed to have a lot more fun.

It's time for the Christmas Retreat at The Lodge. We've arrived early to help with the decorating. Even though the guests will decorate the trees in their rooms or cabins. There are lights to put around windows, etc. Not to mention the public rooms and hallways. Of course before we join the decorating team, we must take a nap after our long flight.
