Sexuality in ancient Egypt may have been open, guilt, and judgement free, however Danish photographer Andreas Hvid is finding out that modern day Egypt is not so open to sexual escapades, especially ones filmed on top of the Great Pyramid of Giza.

You read that right…..Andreas Hvid and a female companion made the dangerous and illegal journey to the top of the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt and managed to capture footage of themselves getting busy on top of the pyramid.
Hvid has said during interviews that the photos and video are in fact real and taken on location after years of planning to make his obsession with capturing a sexual photograph in this remote and forbidden location a reality.
Unfortunately the sex itself is reportedly staged and the only euphoria reached was that of standing atop the pyramid taking in the breathtaking view.
Don’t Try this at Home
Before you go adding wanking like an Egyptian to your bucket list not only is it absolutely illegal to trespass on and climb the pyramids but it is extremely dangerous.
Once Hvid released the photos not only were the people of Egypt upset but so was the government.
Egypt’s Minister of Antiquities Khaled El-Anany has ordered an investigation into the authenticity of the images as well as if the videos filmed contained any explicit images on the pyramid.
Hvid is well aware of the investigation and says he has no plans on returning to Egypt as he is aware he risks jail time if he returns.
