We all know it’s impossible to know what a woman wants, and isn’t it a cruel joke that it’s even harder to understand when you’re dating one? It’s never as simple as one, two, three; but there are always little things that you can do to keep her happy. Here are a few things that women love to hear, but may have slipped your mind.
“I miss you.”
Seems simple enough, right? Well, women love to hear that you’ve missed them, no matter how long or short you’ve been apart. They want to know you miss them, because it makes them feel special, and reminds them that they are on your mind as much as you are on their’s. Three simple words, one huge impact!
“You’re beautiful.”
Women love compliments, and it’s not because they’re vain, but quite the opposite. Women are typically insecure about their looks, and often feel like they are constantly being compared to every other woman in the world, especially if you’re one of those guys with a wandering eye. Let her know she’s beautiful, even when she’s bumming it; it’ll mean more. It doesn’t have to stop at “beautiful” either! Showering her with kind words and compliments will never backfire.
“You pick.”
I know it’s hard to relinquish control, and even harder when it comes down to what you’re watching or doing. But letting her pick now and again shows a level of trust and lets her know that you care about what she likes just as much. You never know; she may surprise you and pick something fun, something you never knew you’d like. Best part is, giving up control every once and a while might just loosen her up to giving over control in other more intimate areas.
“Let me do it.”
Now, this is not what you think. Where talking about things like cleaning and cooking, the everyday stuff she does for you that you may not realize she’d like in return. Giving her a day off from her chores is a good way to conserve her energy for more fun activities. This will also help her to feel appreciated, and there’s nothing cuter than a guy trying his hardest to cook a romantic dinner for two.
“That reminds me.”
Women love to know they are on your mind. Let’s face it, they are always thinking about you, wondering what you’re doing, what you’re thinking, if you’re thinking about them too. It can be as simple as a song reminding you of her, you let her know it, and you’ll make her day.
These things may seem simple enough, but with everything you’ve got going on in your day and on your mind, you may have forgotten to say them. Either way, you’ll make her feel special if you remember to say at least one of these every once and a while.
