foot orgasm

Foot Orgasm Syndrome

This syndrome is so rare it is not even recorded in medical literature. But it is exactly what it sounds like. A Dutch woman presented experiencing around 6 spontaneous orgasms in her left foot. A whole lot of fancy words later: “caused by partial nerve regeneration (axonotmesis), after which afferent (C-fiber) information from a small reinnervated skin area of the left foot and afferent somatic and autonomous (visceral) information from the vagina on at least S1 spinal level is misinterpreted by the brain as being solely information originating from the vagina.” (Waldinger MD) Doctors basically diagnosed her with some crossed wires where her nerves for her lady parts entered her spine and cured her by injecting her with anesthesia.

Perpetual Orgasms

Perpetual Orgasms

A never ending orgasm may sound great at first. However, anyone who has persistent genital arousal disorder says it’s basically torture. If you’ve ever experienced back to back orgasms that became slightly uncomfortable or even painful then you can relate. Imagine going for a drive in a car and that slight pressure setting off orgasms that can last anywhere from hours to days.

Anorgasmia

Anorgasmia

This sounds like it’s by far the worst, even though it is the most common. It is also the most treatable. Anorgasmia is the inability to reach orgasm after adequate sexual stimulation. Around 15% of women have never had an orgasm. For women with anorgasmia, they are unable to climax…ever. There is a secondary type of anorgasmia, however, so if you are unable to climax with a partner but can climax alone you probably have the secondary kind. Either way, if you have never had an orgasm you should talk to your doctor ASAP there are a number of new treatments available to help women reach the ever elusive “O.”

See you next Saturday for some seriously strange loving!

  1. This article really makes me think. Sometimes I have notice that before I orgasm. My left hand lately starts to tingle. This has just been recent. I guess I can kinda relate to the foot. I mean I never had one that way but. I just find it interesting how the body really is a mystery.
